Bandits Attack Community Plateau
Over 36 residents of a community in Jos, the Plateau State capital have been confirmed dead following an attack by bandits
The incident which took place at Yelwan Zangam Community in Jos North Local Government Area also saw a number of houses burnt down during the attack.

An eyewitness who is also a member of the community, David Zaion, confirmed the attack, saying the bandits invaded the community and began to kill innocent citizens.
‘We have recovered 36 corpses of people who were killed by the Fulani, most of the corpses were burnt beyond recognition,’ he said.
Recall that some Muslims of Rukuba area in Jos were recently killed on their way back from a program in Bauchi.
Security Operatives have been deployed to the area to ease tension.
