Fulham manager Marco Silva has officially announced that Super Eagles duo Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey will be included in the squad for Saturday’s Premier League showdown against Manchester United.
Iwobi and Bassey recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty, having only rejoined the squad last week. Despite their limited time back, both players were named among the substitutes in the previous match against Aston Villa.
Iwobi made an appearance on the field after halftime, while Bassey also had the opportunity to showcase his skills later in the second half.

Silva emphasized the valuable contributions of both players to the team before their AFCON commitments and expressed his eagerness to witness their continued impressive performances for the club.
“Alex played for 45 minutes, Calvin came in the second half as well and now they are more than ready to start if I’m going to decide in this way,” Silva said ahead of the game.
“They are really important players for us but you know it’s completely different, the weather was different, the load of the games was there.
“They played the final and it was a really intense final for them and when they lost the final we decided for them to come as quick as they can, to start recovery so that they can be ready for the game against Aston Villa and now they have a normal week.
“They are going to be involved again in the solutions for the match and that’s what is going to be my decision but they are really important for us definitely.
