Maritime workers under the aegies of NPA Waterfront Boat Owners, have congratulated High Chief Government Ekpemupuolo on the award of pipeline surveillance to him by the Nigerian government.

In a statement by its Chairman, Tibyti Bikele, the group described the move as the birth of outright peace in the Niger Delta.

It said not only will many youths of the region be gainfully engaged, there is a guarantee that the nation’s economy will experience a great boast.

“The entire members of the NPA Boat Owners Association congratulate the indefatigable leader of the Niger Delta, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupuolo over his reception of the contract to secure oil installations in the Niger Delta.

“We not only share in the joy that has befallen the region through our leader, but are confident that this is a great move in the right direction.

“This development will no doubt result in absolute peace in not only on oil installations, but on our waterways as well.

“We’re glad that the government of the day has realized that a pact with Tompolo is a pact with peace and the economical growth of the Nigerian economy by a great extension.

“Congratulations GOC, for we trust that you will deliver effectively and optimally even in this new responsibility you’ve saddled with.”
