A church in Shikal village of Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State was on Sunday invaded by masquerades who disrupted the church service.
It was learnt that the masquerades stormed the Church while service was ongoing and started flogging the worshippers.
They (masquerades) later turned to the Church’s musical instruments and other property and began destroying them.

The church members who did not confront the masquerades gathered to salvage what was left of their properties which were also destroyed during the attack.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo while confirming the incident said the DPO of the area has confirmed that it is true.
He stated further that investigation is ongoing.
