The Founder of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has stated that masturbation is not a sin.
Oyakhilome made the statement in a video sighted on Facebook.
According to him, masturbation is not recorded as a sin in the Bible as many had presumed.
He defined masturbation as a self-pleasure one derives for himself or herself.

The Preacher explained that there are people who masturbate but are not addicted to the act.
He argued that people who masturbate do not abuse the body as it is not an abuse but only a sensuous feeling.

He said:
“There’s nowhere in the Bible that suggests that masturbation is a sin. Because it’s a pleasure you derive for yourself.
“There are people who may masturbate and may not be controlled by masturbation because it’s a purely sensuous feeling and it’s your own body.
“And it is not the abuse of the body because you actually like I said it’s a sensuous pleasure that you’re deriving.
“So you’re not abusing yourself as some people say you’re abusing yourself. It is not self-abuse.”
