Medical Licences of UK-Based Nigerian Doctor Revoked over Sex | Daily Report Nigeria

A UK-based Nigerian doctor, Tijion Esho has had his medical licenses revoked after being found guilty of exchanging free Botox injections for sexual favors.

Esho, a regular commentator on cosmetic surgery on TV shows like ITV’s This Morning and BBC’s Morning Live, admitted to having an improper emotional relationship with a patient, referred to as Patient A, with whom he exchanged inappropriate sexual messages on Instagram.

Despite claiming no physical sexual contact, a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service panel ruled that Esho did engage in sexual activity with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2021 and provided free Botox injections.

The tribunal also found that Esho made inappropriate comments and engaged in sexual behavior with Patient A during consultations.

As a result, the tribunal ruled that Esho’s fitness to practice was impaired due to his misconduct and ordered his name be removed from the medical register, adding that the reasons for the sanction will be released next week.

Botox injections, used for cosmetic and medical purposes, require repeated treatments every three to six months to maintain results.
