Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has responded to critic, Verydarkman’s accusations with a lawsuit.
Mercy Chinwo responded through her lawyer after VDM accused her of not remitting payments and earning from her performance to her former boss, EeZee Tee.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls a heated head-to-head scuffle between Chinwo and EeZee Tee months ago, after she alleged that he mismanaged funds generated from her online streaming platforms.

She even came online, where she posted a video narrating her ordeal in the record label, and how she was maltreated and victimized by her former boss.
In recent updates, Mercy Chinwo’s lawyer debunks all of VDM’s claims, stating that he wasn’t a party during the agreement.
He also tagged it as “libelous, malicious, and damaging”
“The claimant avers that she has neither had any form of relationship with the defendant nor was the defendant involved in the issue between the claimant and EeZee Tee in any material particular,” the legal document eeads
Mercy Chinwo Sues VDM, Demands N1.1bn
In the document, Chinwo demanded N1 billion in general damages, N100 million in punitive and aggravated damages, and N25 million to cover legal expenses.
She also asked that he deleted all posts defaming her name and character, and, issue a public apology, and publish retractions in four national newspapers for 14 consecutive days.
