Paris Saint-Germain defender, Sergio Ramos, has named teammate, Lionel Messi and not his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, as the best player football has ever produced.
Ramos also admitted that he suffered a lot against Messi during their spell in the Spanish La Liga playing for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
After spending many years playing against each other, Ramos is finally happy to be competing alongside the Argentine World Cup winner as he considers him the best player in football history.

Both players were up against each other in many El Clasico fixtures.
In 2010, when Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in a humiliating 5-0 win, Ramos received a red card in the final minutes of the game for a nasty foul on Messi.
The Spanish centre-back was also sent off in 2017 for a two-footed lunge at Messi.
Also the two players were also involved in a heated situation in 2019 when the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was caught by the defender’s flying arm.
The two butted heads before being separated by their teammates.
The understandably feisty relationship is well behind them, though, as they now team up on the same side at PSG.
Speaking about Messi, Ramos told PSG TV (via GOAL): “There was suffering for several years playing against Messi.
“I am now enjoying him. He is the best player football has ever produced.”
