He said in Singapore:
“It’s probably just a coincidence that some players we like are at Chelsea. We pick based on qualities, not histories.”
Madueke’s £52 million move injects speed and skill alongside Bukayo Saka.
The 23-year-old thrilled Chelsea fans with 20 goals in 92 games, and Arteta can’t wait to unleash his threat.
However, over 5,000 fans signed a #NoToMadueke petition, and protest art popped up outside the Emirates.
Still, Arteta stays focused saying:
