Mikel Arteta Disagrees with Luton Town Manager’s Assessment of Arsenal’s Weaknesses

Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, expressed disagreement with Rob Edwards, the counterpart from Luton Town, who characterized the Gunners as devoid of weaknesses after observing them in action midweek.

Edwards had praised Arsenal for their clarity in attacking opponents, remarking that Arteta’s team appeared to have no discernible weaknesses.

However, Arteta took a different stance on Edwards’ assessment. During his pre-match press conference before Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday evening, Arteta addressed Edwards’ remarks. He emphasized that while others may admire his team’s performance, he remains aware of the weaknesses within his squad.

“I see them,” Arteta said, adding “Managers probably see all the time what we don’t have than rather than what we actually have, but it’s good to hear from other managers what they think about the team.

“We can still evolve a lot and will try to do that.”
