Tragedy has struck the University of Abuja community as 400-level student Murjanatu Zubairu, who was reported missing by her family, has been found deceased.
Her uncle, Alhaji Zubairu Jibrin Yewuti, a former vice chairman of Kwali Area Council, reported her disappearance to Daily Trust on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
According to him, Murjanatu, a student of the Department of Arts Education, left her parents’ home in Piwoyi on Friday morning, April 26, but her phone went dark, and all efforts to reach her were unsuccessful.
Another family member, Usman Garba Fodio, confirmed the devastating news in a Facebook post on Monday, April 29.
Although details surrounding her death are still unclear, it is believed that she was involved in a fatal car accident after leaving school on Friday.
