Liverpool and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has identified Darwin Núñez as the fastest player in the squad.
Although Mohamed Salah himself is renowned for his speed, he believes that Núñez currently holds the title of Liverpool’s fastest player.

In a recent club video featuring Olympics-themed questions, Salah was asked about the quickest player in a 100-meter sprint. He chose Núñez, saying, “For the 100 meters, I would go for Darwin!”

Teammate Cody Gakpo also shared his opinion, stating, “For the 100 meters, I’d pick myself.”
Núñez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022, has impressed with his speed and performance since arriving at Anfield.
