Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah grabbed the PFA Footballer of the Year award, writing his name in history as the first Premier League player ever to win it.

The Egyptian footballer powered his side to the league crown by scoring 29 goals and setting up 19 more.
Earlier in the year, the 33-year-old was also honoured with the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, showing once again that he rules the stage in English football.
He beat out big names like teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Chelsea’s young sensation Cole Palmer, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Arsenal’s Declan Rice, and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
“I look at myself now – a guy coming from Egypt and making it to the top level, making history today — it’s something that makes me so proud,” – Mohamed Salah said.
This latest success strengthens Salah’s reputation as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever players and continues to inspire fans across the globe who admire his rise from Egypt to football superstardom.
