Late Nigerian rapper, Mohbad has entered Billboard ranking a week after his demise.
Real name Ilerioluwa Aloba, Mohbad gained Billboard recognition and featured alongside other international music stars on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs Powered by X Chart for the September 23, 2023 week.
The chart basically ranks songs currently trending on the microblogging platform, Twitter (X).
For September, the chat featured three songs by the deceased Afrobeat star on its top ten spots.

Mohbad’s “Ask About Me” took the eighth position, “Feel Good” ranked fifth, while “Peace” took the number two spot.
Other prominent names on the Top ten chart include American rapper Nicki Minaj with her new hit “Big Difference”, Taylor Swift’s “Mean” and Drake’s collaboration with Sza “Slime You Out”.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances. His demise has led to several protests and peaceful marches across Nigeria as fans demand a proper investigation into his death.
