Primeboy has been taken into police custody for interrogation and other necessary actions over Mohbad’s death.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Primeboy was declared wanted after failing to honor the police invitation sent to him during the ongoing investigation.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed via X post on Thursday that the late singer’s childhood friend presented himself to them after the declaration.
Hundeyin said:
“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
“The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.”
The Lagos State Police Command promised to conduct a thorough investigation, leaving no stone unturned on the matter.
The Command assured the family, friends, fans of Mohbad, and the general public that justice would be served and all individuals responsible for the death of Mohbad would be brought to justice.
