The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa revealed on Friday that there are substantial evidences linking Naira Marley and Sam Larry to Mohbad.

Daily Report Nigeria by reports that the police listed cyberbullying, physical abuse, threats to life, and assault against the late singer while he was alive.

Owohunwa made the revelation during a briefing in Lagos on Friday.

Recall that Mohbad’s untimely death in September raised questions, as videos of him being bullied and assaulted resurfaced after his passing.

Naira Marley, whose real name was Abdulazeez Fashola, and his associate, Sam Larry, have been implicated as accomplices.

He said:
“While Abdulazeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Samson Balogun (Sam Larry) denied allegations of criminal liability in the death of Mohbad and pleaded an alibi to justify their non-being complicit in the incident that occurred between 10-12 September 2023, there are ample electronic and credible witness pieces of evidence linking them to cyberbullying, a threat to life, assault occasioning harm, and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace against the deceased in his lifetime.”

The police have urged the public to take cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
