The Atlas Lions earned a well deserved victory over Brazil in their first game since the World Cup with goals from Sofiane Boufal and Abdelhamid Sabiri, while Casemiro got the only goal for the Samba Boys.

Speaking after the match, Regragui pointed out that it had only been hours since his players broke their Ramadan fast and completed the Tarawih prayer when they took to the field.

According to the tactician, the scenario made the win against Brazil much sweeter.

“We beat Brazil, in the middle of Ramadan, after the Tarawih prayer, It’s crazy!” he tweeted.
