Daughter of Nigerian actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, Jasmine has announced her divorce from US-based lover.
Jasmine Okafor had, in February 2022, married to her lover whom she met on TikTok.
She explained that her lover proposed to her in Gambia two months after they met physically.

Meanwhile, Jasmine via her Instagram on Monday, announced her divorce from her newly-wedded lover.
Jasmine said she decided to leave after his mother told her that her husband was once married and has three grown-up kids.
Disappointed Jasmine hence took to her Instagram page and revealed that their blissful marriage was broken by a lie.
She said:
“This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your mum, really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! Bur hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance.“
She had recently gave an update about her relationship, saying they had a low-key wedding after her ex-lover flew from America to propose to her in Gambia where they met physically.
