Music producer Napji has publicly called out Davido, alleging that the singer hasn’t paid him royalties for his work on the 2020 album ‘A Better Time.’
Napji claims he produced three tracks on the album but has yet to receive any royalty payments for his contributions.
He stated that he plans to share more details soon as he works toward collecting what he’s owed.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Napji posted:
“I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”
