Popular talent manager Muyiwa Awoniyi has officially ended his professional relationship with Nigerian singer Omah Lay.
The announcement was made on Friday via Awoniyi’s official X handle, where he shared a brief but respectful message confirming that he would no longer be managing the Boy Alone star.

“With love and respect, I am no longer managing @Omah_Lay,” he posted.
“That’s my brother and I wish him all the best in his endeavours for life!”
Though the reason for the split wasn’t disclosed, Awoniyi’s message hinted at a peaceful parting, emphasizing mutual respect and goodwill.
Awoniyi is best known for managing Grammy-winning singer Tems and has played a key role in shaping the careers of several artists, including Nigerian-Canadian act Nonso Amadi.

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man over an alleged attempted culpable homicide and theft of a commercial motorcycle in the Sabon Layi area of Bauchi metropolis.
The incident, which occurred around 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2025, involved two suspects who were confronted by irate youths after they allegedly attacked a motorcyclist.
