The National Association of Burutu Local Government Students, NABLOGS, has called on convsner of the Ijaw Unity Conference, Comrade Ellington Bakumor contest for the President of the Niger Delta Student Union Government, NIDSUG.
The call was contained in a press released signed by the NABLOGS President, Comrade Bruno Tam Kodoye, and sent to Daily Report Nigeria.
According to Kodoye, the call on Bakumor to contest for the NIDSUG presidency is premised on his versatility in handling issues at different levels and different times.

The apex student body in Burutu Council said the emergence of the pioneer Ijaw Youth Council Chairman of Ghana would ensure sustainable growth in the Niger Delta student community.
The statement reads;
“As a student leader and as one who believes in the possible educational growth and development student unionism can bring to society, I officially write to extol the impact of the apex students body in the Niger Delta, Niger Delta Students Union Government (NIDSUG), and their selfless service to the students community over the years.
“I can remember how Programmes of various kinds ranging from debates to other online intellectual contests among students, was organized by the government of the union which helped in developing the writing and speaking skills of our fellows.
“Noting that the NIDSUG National Elections are getting closer, and believing that the good legacies should be carried on by tested and trusted comrades, in order to ensure sustainable growth and development of our dear Union, NIDSUG, I hereby officially call on a student with capacity personified, Comr. Ellington Bakumo, a son of the soil, to contest for the post of the NIDSUG National Presidency in the forthcoming Election.
“My call on him is as a result of his capacity shown in handling various responsibilities given him in previous times at different levels. And I believe he can take the union to the next level.
“However, the decision is his to make. I am doing this for the betterment of our dear Association, NIDSUG.
