- Rehabilitation of NADIS Chapters
I shall Revitalize our chapters to create mutual coexistence among students by fostering a positive relationship with the university chapters, promoting open dialogue and collaboration to address challenges and find mutually beneficial solutions for chapters.
- Education Sensitization Campaigns:
I wish to organize an education sensitization program which shall be a targeted initiative aimed at creating awareness, understanding, and support for various aspects of education within the Delta ljaw communities.
This program serves to sensitize individuals about the importance of education, its benefits, and specific issues related to it and most importantly to raise awareness on critical issues affecting our community.
5: Agitation for more higher institutions in the Delta Ijaw axis
The only state owned tertiary institution in our region, DESSOMATECH is in a very dilapidated state, hence needs government intervention to be rehabilitated and more functional, I shall try my best with your support to call on the government and all Delta ljaw leaders to swing into action to bring more campuses and higher institutions to our region.
6: Provision of Physical NADIS Office:
If given the opportunity I will advocate to establish a central hub which can serve as a neutral ground for discussions, negotiations and planning, promoting a more transparent and cooperative work environment. Additionally, a dedicated office space can help streamline union activities, making it easier for members to organize and address concerns, ultimately contributing to a healthier members-leadership relationship.
7: Annual Provision of JAMB Forms:
In a bid to showcase commitment to education accessibility, my administration shall provide Free JAMB forms to students from the various NADIS LGA’s By facilitating access to these forms, my mandate actively supports the pursuit of higher education, making it more inclusive for all students. This initiative reflects a dedication to empowering fellow students in their academic endeavors and can contribute to a more informed and educated student body.
8: Constitution of a representative panel (committee) to super see the well-being of our rural schools, having noticed the shortcomings in our rural schools and our students community in general, I wish to Create a dedicated body composed of nominated members from all LGAs in NADIS to oversee the stability of education in the creek such as the availability of teachers, teaching materials, and infrastructure in creek schools.
9: Restructuring of the NADIS parliament arm:
My administration aims to better serve the interests and needs of NADIS, fostering a more inclusive and effective governance structure, The NADIS parliament arm involves a strategic review and adjustment of its organizational framework to enhance efficiency and representation.
This process may include redefining roles, ensuring diverse representation, and implementing clear communication Channels, Hence I shall restructure the parliament arm if elected as president.
10: Creating a stable NADIS joint account. I shall Open a functional account for the union to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
11: Provision of 18 seater bus: I shall advocate for the acquisition of an 18-seater bus to facilitate student’s mobility, which shall also be a reliable transportation for students, facilitating access to educational events, conferences, and off-campus activities.
