NAOCS Mega Convention 2024 to Begin December 20 | Daily Report Nigeria

The National Association of Ogulagha Clan Students (NAOCS) is gearing up for its Mega Elective Convention 2024, a three-day event filled with cultural displays, educational activities, and entertainment.

The convention, themed “Think Beyond Oil: For Education is Not a Scam but a Bedrock for a Better Society,” will take place from December 20th to 22nd in Sokebolou community, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Key highlights include leadership elections, traditional wrestling, a beauty pageant, health sensitization programs, and awards recognizing outstanding students and community leaders.

The event will also feature inspiring keynote addresses from experts and cultural performances showcasing Ogulagha Clan’s heritage.

Guest speakers at the event include Sir Sele-Bika Ogbaburu, Mrs. Endurance Nwachukwu, Victor Isereke, and Godspower Potoki.

Meanwhile, Engr. Eddy Pondi will serve as Chairman of the Day, while the Chairman of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Comrade Shedrack Agediga, will serve as Guest of Honour.

Father of the Day is the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, and HRM Elder Capt. Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom serving as Royal Father of the Day.

The convention also aims to unite students and inspire them to embrace education as a tool for societal transformation.
