Napoli has arranged a face-to-face meeting with Chelsea on Thursday to negotiate a deal for Romelu Lukaku.
The Serie A club submitted an official bid for Lukaku on Monday, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, it was not accepted. Despite this, discussions are ongoing, and both sides are optimistic about reaching an agreement.
Napoli aims to finalize the Lukaku deal before addressing the situation with Victor Osimhen, who is expected to leave the club. Romano shared on X:
“Napoli will meet Chelsea today in London to push for the Romelu Lukaku deal, even before sorting out Victor Osimhen’s departure. The official bid from Monday was not accepted, but negotiations are progressing.”
