Popular content creator and singer, Nasboi, has reflected on the negative predictions made about his career during his early days as a struggling creative.
While celebrating his fourth year in the Nigerian entertainment industry, the ‘Small Money’ crooner recalled how some people claimed he would amount to nothing after mimicking Afrobeats megastar, Davido.
Contrary to these predictions, Nasboi is still thriving after four years and continues to grow in his career.

On his X handle, Nas wrote: “I’m reminded of the time people said after mimicking @davido, nothing would come of it. Four years later, I’m still here. Na God! Watch me grow bigger.”
Nasboi also shared his excitement about his upcoming collaboration with legendary singer, 2Baba, whom he described as his mentor.
“If I listened to the chatter on Twitter, I wouldn’t have progressed. Most importantly, I’m growing every day. My biggest achievement is having a track with my idol 2Baba. It’s going to be huge,” he said.
