NASS Appoints Bashir Abubakar as Chief Public Complaint Commissioner | Daily Report Nigeria

 

 

The National Assembly (NASS) has announced the appointment of Alhaji Bashir Abubakar as the new Chief Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC). This appointment was made in accordance with section 2(1) of the PCC Establishment Act.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of Research and Information, Barde Umoru, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Alhaji Sani Magaji Tambawal, the new Chief Commissioner and Commissioners for the Commission were named.

 

The Commissioners, who represent the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, include Mr. Ubong Uwah (Akwa Ibom), Yusuf Abdullahi Ata (Kano), Prince Olayisade Akintade Charles (Ekiti), and Abatcha Maaji (Borno), among others.

 

The statement added that the inauguration date for the PCC Chief Commissioner and Commissioners-designate would be announced soon.
