Nassarawa Governor Suspends Board Over Teachers Employment Fraud | Daily Report Nigeria

Gov Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has suspended the chairman and board members of the state’s Teachers Service Commission following the unauthorized employment of over 1,000 teachers.

The governor had previously emphasized that only teachers properly recruited through approved processes would receive their full entitlements.

This development was disclosed in a statement on Monday by his social media assistant, Godwin Rimi, in Lafia, the state capital.

The suspension followed widespread public outcry over allegations of unpaid salaries for the affected teachers.
