A 42-year-old native doctor identified as Terhemen Iorbee has reportedly committed suicide in Mbakuha Council ward of Ushongo Local Government Area, Benue State.

Terhemen was said to have been declared missing before his body was found dangling on a tree.

Although no suicide note was found, residents in the area alleged that before the incident, the deceased exhibited strange behaviours.

The late Terhemen was however married to three wives and had four children.

An eye witness said;

“There is nothing to show the cause of his suicide except the strange behaviours he was displaying few weeks ago.

He was a native doctor and married to three wives and had four children,”

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Catherine Anene, when contacted confirmed the incident.
