A Nigerian Navy personnel, Abdul Rasheed Muhammad, has been arrested for the murder of Aminu, the son of former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral I.I. Ibrahim (retd).

The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, confirmed the arrest and recovery of the stolen car.

Muhammad, a seaman deployed to the former Chief of Naval Staff’s residence, confessed to the crime, stating that he killed Aminu to steal his car. The incident occurred two weeks ago in the Maitama area of Abuja.

Additionally, 94 members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria were arrested following the death of two police officers on Sunday.
