Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi remains optimistic about the team’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Despite a challenging 1-1 draw against South Africa in Uyo on Friday, which left the team in fifth place in Group C with three points from three games, Ndidi believes the opportunity to qualify is still there.
“The group is still wide open; we still have a chance,” Ndidi stated after the match.
