Three suspects: Rauf Asogba (28), Seun Olaniyi (24), and Ayinla Adeniyi (50) were arrested at the scene. Musa described the discovery of the 1,779kg cannabis haul as one of the largest seizures the Command has made in recent months.

He stated that the success was achieved through “sustained intelligence gathering and tactical manoeuvring,” adding that the agency remains determined to dismantle drug distribution channels within the state.

The State Commander, Tijjani Rabe, praised the officers involved, noting that their swift action prevented the narcotics from reaching the capital. He emphasized that the suspects will face prosecution once investigations are completed.
