- Pretty Mike and others were arrested during NDLEA’s midnight raid.
- Court suspends all activities in the nightclub pending investigation.
The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the temporary forfeiture of a nightclub allegedly owned by socialite Pretty Mike, following NDLEA’s claim that the property was used as a base for storing and distributing illegal substances.
Justice Musa Kakaki granted the NDLEA’s request after hearing an ex parte motion presented by the agency’s counsel, Buhari Abdulahi. The nightclub, located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, reportedly stored 169 cylinders of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and 200 grams of cannabis.

According to the NDLEA, the property, known as Proxy Lagos Night Club, was being prepared for what officials described as a planned “large-scale drug party.” The agency stated that the premises were owned by Pretty Mike (Mike Nwalie) and one Joachim Hillary.
In the affidavit submitted, NDLEA operative Nasiru Garba Bungudu explained that the agency received credible intelligence suggesting that drugs were being stockpiled at the nightclub ahead of an event. Acting on the information, NDLEA operatives raided the club shortly after midnight on October 26, 2025.
Officers reportedly recovered the nitrous oxide cylinders and cannabis from the scene. More than 200 people were arrested during the raid, including the nightclub owners. Laboratory analysis later confirmed that the seized items were controlled substances.

The NDLEA argued that the nightclub served as an “instrument used to commit a crime,” and therefore requested that the facility be forfeited to the Federal Government pending the completion of the investigation.
After reviewing the evidence, the court agreed, ordering the interim forfeiture of the nightclub and suspending all commercial activities on the premises.
The matter has been adjourned to January 28, 2026, for further hearing.
