Big Brother Naija star Neo Akpofure recently revealed that he used to be a taxi driver before achieving fame. Reflecting on his humble beginnings, Neo shared a throwback photo on his official X account that has since sparked conversations.
In the photo, Neo is seen sitting with popular musician MC Galaxy, recalling a time five years ago when he was working as a Bolt driver in Calabar. He explained that he picked up MC Galaxy and his friend, who were in the mood for bush meat and palm wine from a place called Atimbo. After enjoying the food and drink together, Neo dropped them off at the airport.
Neo Akpofure expressed how that encounter became a memorable experience that changed his perspective on life. He wrote, “Five years ago today, I was still driving a Bolt in Calabar when I picked up MC Galaxy and his associate. We enjoyed bush meat and palm wine together before dropping them off at the airport. Looking back now, I see how far I’ve come. If I had given up on my dreams back then, I would have missed out on everything I have achieved.”
