New Super Eagles Coach Finidi George Declines Collaboration with Former Teammates Amokachi and Amuneke

Finidi George

Finidi George, the new head coach of the Super Eagles, doesn’t intend to bring his former teammates Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amuneke onto his coaching staff.

Finidi, who just got the job this week, hasn’t chosen his assistants yet. Both Amokachi and Amuneke have expressed interest in the role of assistant coach, and they even applied for the head coach position.

However, according to SCORENigeria, Finidi George prefers to select his own team rather than collaborate with them. The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) had already stated that the new coach would have the freedom to pick his own assistants.
