He led Nigeria to the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup title and won the 2015 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

He also guided the Eaglets at the 2019 U-17 World Cup.

After the NFF Executive Committee endorsed him on the Technical & Development subcommittee’s recommendation, Garba jumped straight into preparations for Nigeria’s home WAFU B U-17 tournament this September.

Moses Aduku replaces Chris Danjuma as coach of the U-20 women’s team.

He currently runs Edo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League and previously managed Bayelsa Queens.

As assistant coach, he helped the Falconets reach the 2022 U-20 World Cup quarter-finals.

Aduku’s first task is to whip the team into shape for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in September.

These high-profile appointments revealed that the NFF is driving youth development and reinforcing Nigeria’s edge in regional and global tournaments.

Fans and stakeholders expect immediate impact from two coaches with proven records at youth level.
