Nicki Minaj has made history by breaking the record for the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper ever. According to Touring Data, an American statistics company, the Trinidadian hip-hop star achieved this feat by also breaking the record for the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper, earning $2.858 million at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 30, 2024.
Her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour has now officially become the most successful tour by a female rapper, bringing in a total of $34.9 million from the sale of 220,000 tickets during its first 17 shows.

Impressively, she raked in $34.9 million from just 30 percent of the tour, and it’s anticipated that she’ll reach $100 million in gross earnings by the end of the tour later this year.
Notably, Nicki Minaj had previously expressed her willingness to consider including Nigeria on her ‘Pinky Friday 2’ tour if there was enough fan interest, particularly after a Nigerian fan expressed disappointment over the exclusion of Africa from her world tour venues.
It’s uncertain whether Nicki Minaj will indeed include Nigeria or any other African country in the tour, as her decision remains to be seen.
