A group of RevolutionNow protesters have been stopped by the Rivers State police command from marching on the streets of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

The protest march led by Ken Henshaw of We The People and Enefa Georgewill of the Rivers Civil Society Organization was stopped by police operatives at the Isaac Boro Park in Port Harcourt.

While the officers led by the Area Command, stated that they got intelligence that the protest may be hijacked by hoodlums, the Civil Society leaders did not hesitate to express their displeasure over the state of affairs in Nigeria.

#RevolutionNow is a protest hashtag led by the owner of foremost online investigative media outlet, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore.
