Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has described Nigeria as the “Zig-zag Republic.”
Senator Sani was reacting to the counter arguments and sentiments Nigerians attach to ‘extradition.’

Shehu wrote;
You are happy Kanu is extradited but you don’t want Kyari extradited. You want Kyari extradited but you hated the extradition of Kanu. You want Igboho to be extradited but you are opposed to the extradition of Kyari. You don’t want Kanu extradited but you want Igboho extradited.
THE ZIGZAG REPUBLIC.
Recall that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was reportedly arrested in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria following an operation that involved Interpol and security operatives in Nigeria.
Kanu has since been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja, before his case was adjourned to October 21.
Meanwhile, Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho was arrested in Benin Republic on his way to Germany alongside his wife, and his currently facing trial in the West African country, even though Nigerian authorities have since sought for his extradition back to his own nation for trial.
However, celebrity super cop, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has been found wanting by American authorities over an alleged involvement with renowned internet fraudster, Abbas Ramon, widely known as HushPuppi.
Kyari is accused of aiding HushPuppi to defraud an unsuspecting victim to the tune of $1.1 million.
While Kyari has distanced himself from the case, he has been suspended by the Nigerian Police Force, while US authorities await him to defend his case pending an extradition by the Nigerian government.
