Nigeria, UK Begin Talks on Security, Defence Partnership

Nigeria, UK Begin Talks on Security, Defence Partnership | Daily Report Nigeria

Ndidiamaka Eze, Press and Public Affairs Officer, British High Commission has announced that Nigeria and the United Kingdom have commenced their first Security and Defence Partnership Dialogue.

According to a statement by Eze, UK National Security Adviser, Sir Stephen Lovegrove, and his Nigerian counterpart, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd), are attending.

Counter-terrorism, serious and organised crime, civilian policing and human rights will be discussed by the two officials.

The dialogue, being held at King Charles Street, FCDO, London is expected to end on Wednesday.
