Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has named his side’s starting XI to tackle Egypt in today’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tie in Cameroon.

Eguavoen opted to start Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi in Nigeria’s attack line against Egypt.

Nigeria are in Group D alongside Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.

Below is Nigeria’s starting XI against Egypt:

Okoye, Aina, Omeruo, Ekong, Zaidu, Ndidi, Aribo, Iheanacho, Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi.

Substitutes: Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ebuehi, Iwobi, Nwakali, Ejuke, Umar, Onyekuru, Musa, Onyeka, Ndah and Ajayi.

The kick-off time for the match is 5 pm.
