The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom, Umo Eno is stepping up to rally support for Nigeria’s Super Eagles by offering 30,000 free tickets for fans to attend the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Zimbabwe’s Warriors.

This exciting match is set to take place on Tuesday, March 25, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

On Monday, State Sports Commissioner Mr. Paul Bassey announced that the government is encouraging football fans to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to back the national team.

You can pick up your free tickets at various locations, including all radio stations in Uyo, Uyo Township Stadium, Ibom Plaza, and other previous ticket sales points.

Key Guidelines for Attending the Match

To make sure everything goes smoothly, fans should keep the following in mind:

– The tickets are free, so don’t buy them from anyone.

– You’ll need a valid ticket to get into the stadium.

– Tickets won’t be handed out at the stadium, so if you don’t have one, it’s best to stay away from the area.

– Please stick to your assigned seating and follow the instructions from the organizers.

– All FIFA, CAF, and NFF rules for international matches will be strictly followed.

– Security agencies will be on hand to ensure everyone adheres to these guidelines.

Governor’s Ongoing Commitment to Nigerian Football

This initiative highlights Governor Eno’s commitment to supporting Nigerian football.

Just last September, he provided 30,000 free tickets for the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against São Tomé and Príncipe.

By making these tickets available for this important match, Governor Eno hopes to generate strong support for the Super Eagles and boost their chances in the World Cup qualifiers.
