The Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi has been declared winner in Edo State presidential election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s state collation officer, Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom said Obi polled a total of 331,163 to win the state.
Candidate of All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, scored 144,471 to finish second while Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had 89,585.

Also Rabiu Kwakwanso of the NNPP scored 2,743, while the ZLP candidate scored 4082.
Total number of registered voters are 2,501,081, 603, 894 voters were accredited, total votes cast were 600,395, the total valid votes were 581,266, rejected votes were 19,129.
LP won the presidential election in 12 Local Government Areas.
Atiku wins Bauchi with 109,913 Votes
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential election in Bauchi with 109,913 votes
The state Collation Officer of the presidential election, Prof. Abdulkarim Mohammed, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, announced the results on Monday.
Abdulkarim while giving a summary of the results, said Atiku got 426,607 votes while his closest contender, Tinubu, had 316,694 votes.
New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso got 72,103 while Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored 27,373 votes.
The total registered voters in the state are: 2,749,268 while those that were accredited to vote are: 899,769.
The valid votes cast are: 853,516, rejected votes: 29,030 while the total votes cast are: 882,546.
