Hadi Abubakar Sirika, Minister for Aviation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has urged Bola Tinubu to prepare his acceptance speech as Nigeria’s new president.
The minister stated this via Twitter on Monday.
Sirika wanted the All Progressives Congress candidate to write his speech on Monday regardless of Tibunu losing Lagos, Osun, Kano, Katsina, Yobe, Gombe, and others.

He said:
“Notwithstanding the irritation in Lagos, Osun, Kano, Katsina, Yobe, Gombe and couple others, ‘President elect’ Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu should write his acceptance speech now. But your Excellency please make it short, we will sleep early tonight. ‘Zero tension’. Alhamdulillah.”
According to the ongoing collation of results of the 2023 presidential election so far, only ten states have been collated at the national level in Abuja. They are:
Ekiti state
Kwara state
Osun state
Ondo state
Ogun state
Oyo state
Yobe state
Enugu state
Lagos state
Gombe
Out of the 10 listed states above, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu won five (Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, and Oyo) States.
