The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as winner of the 2023 presidential election in Kwara State.

Tinubu scored a total of 263,572 in the exercise conducted across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, scored 136,909 votes to emerge second, while Labour Party’s Peter Obi scored 31,166 to come a distant third.

Atiku wins Gombe presidential election

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP has been declared winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Gombe State.

The former vice president scored the most votes in results released from all the eleven Local Government Areas in the state.

Announcing the results at about 01:00am on Monday, the Gombe State Collation Officer, Professor Maimuna Waziri, Vice Chancellor (VC) Federal University Gashua, said Atiku polled the highest votes of 319,123.

Also, Bola Tinubi of the All Progressive Congress (APC), a distant second with 146,977 votes in an election that was reported to be generally peaceful all over the State.

Tinubu floors Atiku, Obi in Ogun

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives, Bola Tinubu, has been declared winner of the all the 20 local government areas in Ogun State.

The results announced at exactly 11:00pm on Sunday, showed that Tinubu won all the Local Government Areas in the state.

The state Resident Electoral Commission, Niyi Ijalayem, and the collation officer, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, presided over the collation of results held at the state collation centre in Abeokuta.

According to the results, Tinubu was followed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Peter Obi of the Labour Party came a distant third.
