Nigerian Boxer, Miracle Amaeze Dies at 18

18-year-old fast-rising Nigerian boxer, Miracle Amaeze reportedly passed away.

Amaeze, a rising light heavyweight star in his homeland died in a horror incident, according to reports.

He was said to have lost consciousness after two knockdowns during training on Saturday morning of July 23 in Lagos.

The news of his demise was disclosed on social media by African boxing reporters Fight Gist.

“It’s with great pain we announce the passing away of the Nigerian light-heavyweight boxer MIRACLE “Active boxer” AMAEZE (2-0-0-2KOS).

He was given first aid treatment and rushed to hospital but confirmed dead in the evening, reports stated.

Amaeze had a perfect 2-0 record in his professional career and was listed for boxing greatness by many in Nigeria.

Both of his fights finished with first-round knockouts in his hometown, including the second just three weeks ago on July 1.
