Nigerian Rapper 2MIN IME Takes legal Action Against Love Nwantiti Video Director “Nayaeffectz” for Withholding SHAKE IT Video

On Monday 9th of May 2022 Ikenna Stanley Aduba also known as 2MIN IME engaged the services of Chukwufunaya Victor Ikems also known as Nayaeffectz Creative Studio to film, edit and produce the music video of his song titled “SHAKE IT” The parties agreed that the Claimant @2min_ime should pay the sum of #2,500,000 as the entire production cost for the music video.

Nayaeffectz further agreed with @2min_ime that the finished music video shall be ready and delivered to him within 14 days from the date of shooting the video.

@2min_ime paid in two installments #2,000,000 into the UBA bank account no. 1023370268 belonging to Nayaeffectz and #500,000 into Kuda microfinance bank account no. 2024419347 belonging to Nayaeffectz’s Manager on the 25th of May 2022.

On Sunday the 5th day of June 2022 within the hours of 8pm – 2am, @2min_ime music’s video was shot by Nayaeffectz at Peninsula Resort in Abraham Adesanya Estate Lagos State.

The two weeks referred in the above paragraph lapsed on the 19th of June and to the utter shock of @2min_ime, the video was not delivered.

After several failed attempts to get in touch with Nayaeffectz and his Manager @2min_ime not being comfortable with the actions of Nayaeffectz and his Manager, engaged the services of P.C Obi & Co and a Pre-action notice was delivered at the residence of Nayaeffectz but he refused to acknowledge receipt of same..

@2min_ime avers that himself and his music video career have suffered severe hardship, setbacks, disappointments and incurred huge financial losses coupled with unwarranted mental and emotional unrest and distress occasioned by the Defendants flagrant breach of contract.

@2min_ime avers that judgement should be entered in his favor against Nayaeffectz for specific performance of the contract and payment for general damages caused by Nayaeffectz as a result of the deliberate breach of the contract to deliver SHAKE IT video.
