Chidera Ejuke of Super Eagles Sunday scored the lone winning goal as CSKA Moscow went toe-to-toe with Ural in the Russian league.

Ejuke was the hero whose second-half effort propelled his sides past their hosts in a 1-0 victory.

The substitute who performed excellently for Nigeria against the Central African Republic in Douala was able to seal the 4th spot for Moscow with 20 points in 11 games.

The 23-year-old who joined the team in 2020 found the net 7 minutes to the second-half at Ekaterinburg Arena.

His goals now totalled up to 8 in 36 matches since he joined the Krasno-sinie with four goals and two assists in eleven games this season.

The former Heerenveen star had also been named Man of the Match in CSKA Moscow 2-2 draw against Arsenal Tula on the 12th of September.

Perhaps, he may continue to be on top of form as Aleksei Berezutski’s men take Zenith Petersburg in their next game.
