Nigeria’s Omeruo leads Relegation-Threatened Leganes to vital win Against Huesca

Kenneth Omeruo of Super Eagles led Leganes to a 2-0 victory against SD Huesca on Friday 5th, in the Spanish La Liga SmartBank League.

At Estadio El Alcoraz, Omeruo was given the captain band and his leadership resulted in a three-point giveaway.

Not only did the former Kasimpasa’s defender lead his side to a win, he also helped them keep a clean sheet.

The 27-year-old was paired with Javi Hernandez, Sergio Gonzalez Poirrier, and Sergi Palencia to bolster the Cucumber Growers’ defense during the match.
