Kenneth Omeruo of Super Eagles led Leganes to a 2-0 victory against SD Huesca on Friday 5th, in the Spanish La Liga SmartBank League.

At Estadio El Alcoraz, Omeruo was given the captain band and his leadership resulted in a three-point giveaway.

Not only did the former Kasimpasa’s defender lead his side to a win, he also helped them keep a clean sheet.

The 27-year-old was paired with Javi Hernandez, Sergio Gonzalez Poirrier, and Sergi Palencia to bolster the Cucumber Growers’ defense during the match.

The Mehdi Nafti’s boys eventually carved away the victory after a 1st half goalless draw.

However, the visitors got into high gear in the second 45 minutes.
