Nigeria’s tallest man, Afeez Oladimeji, is dead.

The Nollywood actor was known for his towering height of 2.25 metres (7 ft 4 in).

The 48-year-old actor passed away on Wednesday night at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after a prolonged illness.

The news of his demise was announced on Thursday by popular Twitter influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke.

Adegoke said:

“Nigerian tallest man Afeez Agoro Oladimeji is dead after suffering from prolonged sickness.”

Before his untimely death, Oladimeji had been bedridden for the past 8 months, according to reports.

Despite his health challenges, he remained a source of inspiration and joy to many.
