Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice have announced the signing of Terem Moffi from Lorient on a six-month loan deal.

The deal also has a mandatory purchase option included in the contract.

The Rivera club made a strong competition with Ligue 1 club Olympic Marseille for the signature of the on demand srriker.

Marseille agreed a deal with Lorient for the player but he turned them down for a move to Nice.

“We are delighted that Terem’s determination to sign for OGC Nice combined with ours could lead to this conclusion. The support of our owner has also been invaluable,” the club wrote on their official website.

Moffi joined Lorient from Belgian Pro League club, KV Kortrijk in 2020 in a deal worth €8m.

The 23-year-old scored 35 goals in 90 games for Les Merlus including 12 this season.
